When file processing halts at 70% or appears frozen, try these troubleshooting approaches: Reload your browser and attempt the process again. Verify your internet connection is stable. Confirm your file size meets our requirements (usually 100 MB maximum for most functions). Try a different browser or clear your current browser's cache. If problems persist, your file might be damaged or contain complex formatting requiring extended processing time. Contact our support team at support@makemepdf.com with your file type and size details for specialized assistance.

OCR (Optical Character Recognition) functions by analyzing text images and converting them to editable format through pattern and shape recognition. Several factors can impact OCR performance: Image clarity and resolution - unclear or low-quality images yield poor results. Typography - decorative or unusual fonts may not be accurately identified. Document state - tilted, rotated, or damaged files can decrease accuracy. Visual interference - complex backgrounds or watermarks can disrupt text recognition. Handwritten content presents particular challenges for OCR systems. For optimal results, use high-resolution, well-illuminated scans with standard, clear typefaces.

Delete your browser cache and cookies. Use a different browser or try incognito/private browsing. Make sure you have adequate storage space on your device. If your download link has expired, you may need to reprocess your file. For ongoing issues, contact our support team for direct help or alternative download options.

Make Me PDF accommodates many languages, though certain restrictions may occur: OCR (Optical Character Recognition) performs optimally with Latin alphabet systems and may show reduced precision with complex writing systems or handwritten content. Languages reading right-to-left (Arabic, Hebrew) and Asian character systems (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) may need specialized handling and could take longer to process. Font compatibility issues might impact how converted documents appear in certain languages. For optimal results with non-Latin scripts, use documents with standard, legible fonts.
